The first day of the 2019 spring season arrives Wednesday at 5:58 PM. Get ready for a fresh start with spring flowers, spring cleaning and a beautiful spring supermoon!

Look for a brilliant Supermoon to brighten the skies over South Jersey on Wednesday, March 20th according to NJ.com.

The moon will be at its brightest and fullest phase over South Jersey on the first official night of spring at 9:43 PM. So far, we've been treated to three consecutive supermoons in 2019. The last time the full March moon coincided with the spring equinox was the spring of 1979.

The supermmon is slightly brighter than a full moon according to the Old Farmers Almanac.
