NASA is getting ready to launch another rocket on Tuesday, June 15th according to NJ.com. The Northrop Grumman Corporations Minotaur 1 rocket is scheduled for liftoff early Tuesday morning from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility which is located on Wallops Island in Virginia.

If the weather cooperates, the best chance in South Jersey to catch a rare glimpse of the Minotaur 1 rocket is between 10 and 30 seconds after liftoff which is s scheduled for 7 AM eastern this Tuesday, June 15.

The launch will be handled by a joint effort between the  U.S.Space Force Space and Missiles Systems Center Launch Enterprises. The mission of the Minotaur Rocket 1 will be to carry three national security payloads for the National Reconnaissance Office intelligence agency located in Virginia.
