Atlantic City, N.J. — A man from the World's Play Ground has pleaded guilty to gun and drug charges stemming from four separate encounters with Atlantic City police over six months last year.
On Tuesday, 20-year-old Dajuan Daniels pleaded guilty to second-degree possession of a firearm during a controlled dangerous substance offense, two counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and one count of third-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.

Four Incidents, Six Months
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office:
June 9, 2025: Atlantic City police observed an assault in progress and approached Daniels as part of an investigation. A search following his arrest turned up a bag of suspected drugs and numerous wax folds, which later tested positive for fentanyl and heroin. Daniels admitted to possessing them with intent to distribute.
July 6, 2025: ACPD officers stopped Daniels for a motor vehicle violation and recognized him from the prior incident. A K-9 unit was requested, and officers found numerous wax folds on Daniels' person that later tested positive for fentanyl. Daniels again admitted intent to distribute.

November 12, 2025: Atlantic City police officers saw Daniels working with three other men to distribute narcotics from a silver Nissan Altima. A search found a bag of suspected drugs and wax folds he attempted to hide from officers. The items tested positive for fentanyl. Daniels admitted to possessing them with intent to distribute.
December 23, 2025: While investigating an altercation between Daniels and his girlfriend, officers located a Beretta handgun inside her home, in the same shopping bag as wax folds and scales. The wax folds tested positive for fentanyl. Daniels admitted to possessing both the firearm and the drugs.
