I'm sure by now many of you saw the security guard take out the Phillies fan that ran out on the field after the teams 10-0 Game 2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Championship Series on Tuesday night.

While the team was celebrating the key win, fans were partying in their seats, and one overzealous fan took it to another level, running on the field, to get just a little closer to the action.

While there were plenty of big hits throughout the game, the biggest hit of the night might have come courtesy of one of the Citizens Bank Park security guards, Gary Brenner, a former Galloway police officer and Absegmai high alum, made a bone-crushing tackle as the fan came towards some of the Phillies bullpen members, who were walking from the pen to the dugout area.

The crowd oohed and aahed at the spectacular tackle, which you could hear during the TBS broadcast, which even caught the attention of the Phillies players, who were going through the celebration line.

So Brenner, a guy I actually know and played baseball against in high school (he threw pretty hard), is getting his own burger from two local establishments - The Ducktown Tavern in Atlantic City and Tailgaters in Galloway.

Gary is a retired Galloway Township police officer and well known in the area and at sporting events in Philadelphia, which has earned him a fan-run Facebook page, which you can join here

They have created the 'Laid the Phuck Out Burger', which he named and created, includes bacon, pork roll, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and BBQ sauce and will only be available during Phillies playoff games.

So what's the penalty for running on to the field?  Remember the guy last year in the World Series against the Astros who did it was charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, disrupting meetings and defiant trespassing. Depending on the state it could have a fine of up to 25,000 dollars and twelve months in jail.

Maybe the Eagles will look to add Brenner to the practice squad this week, they could use a safety!
