Bridgeton High School has a new head football coach.

The Bulldogs named one of the greatest players in school history, Dominique Williams, to lead the program, he takes over for Steve Lane.

Williams rushed for 2,786 yards in his final two seasons at Bridgeton and played briefly in the NFL with Minnesota, Arizona, and the Jets. He also spent time in the CFL with the Calgary Stampeders.

Tne 2008 Bridgeton graduate takes over a Bulldogs team that went 0-9 in 2023 and in 2022 under Lane, who was hired in 2018.

Williams played in college football at Wagner, rushing for 4,435 yards and 42 touchdowns.

He went undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft and signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
