New Jersey Residents Are Worried About The Most Stressed State Results
Am I the only one who thinks New Jersey residents have more things to worry about than people in other states? I do, but the data doesn't agree.
Is New Jersey The State With The Most Stress?
If you ask me, it's not even close. There are so many things New Jersey residents have to stress over; no other state could match it. But that statement, like most statements I make, is patently false, at least according to one study.

The study I'm talking about, published by WalletHub, says that not only is New Jersey not the most stressed state, but it's also among the least stressed.
You heard that right. The data and the conclusions suggest that only 10 states in the country are less stressed than we are here in laid-back, whatever-shall-be-shall-be New Jersey.
I have been a New Jersey resident too long to simply absorb this information without a little pushback and research.
What Data Says New Jersey Is Among America's Least Stressed States?
The Garden State ranks as the 40th most stressed state in America, and here is what that ranking is based on.
The study focused on 4 categories to determine its results, and they were stress from work, money, family, and health.
Take a minute to think about how much stress you have in those categories, and then we'll tell you what the data says.
New Jersey's Stress Ranking In Several Categories
The study says we are most stressed about work. We are the 10th most stressed state when it comes to work.
Our stress is the lowest when it comes to (get ready for this) money. The study says only four states stress less about money than we do.
We rank 39th for family-related stress and 44th for health-related stress. I'm not sure if these rankings make sense to me.
I feel like there is a lot more stress in the Garden State than these numbers show, but I'm glad the numbers say I'm wrong. So, relax and enjoy a stress-free New Jersey day.
