These New Jersey Roads Have The Weirdest And Funniest Names
If you live in New Jersey, you have to hope the road you decide to live on is not one of the ones with the weird, scary, or funny names.
The Funny And Weird New Jersey Road Names
I did some research, and there are a ton of funny, weird, and scary road names in New Jersey, and with all due respect to the Garden State residents who live on them, I wanted to share them with you.
I broke them down into categories to make it easier for you to enjoy them. Let's start with the scary, spooky, bone-chilling New Jersey road names we found.
Shades of Death Rd in Warren County - It can't be easy to sell a house on this road, but it must get a lot of trick-or-treaters.
Mount Misery Rd in Cassville - That is a mountain I'm never going to climb. I'm sure there's a story, but I don't want to know it.
Purgatory Rd. in Southampton - I'd live on this road. Maybe I can do my time right here on Earth.
Now I want to give you a few of the funny ones, and there are a lot of them. Would you live on these roads?
Goa Way in Lavalette. You can't make this up. That's the most New Jersey road name I've ever heard.
Hooker St. in Riverside - I heard the traffic on this road is mostly late at night. Imagine sending a Christmas card to a friend there?
Sesame St in Atco - I'm sure they have very strict rules about Big Bird hunting on this road.
These weird road names also deserve a little love. There's Wits End Road, Hamburg, Redneck Ave, in Little Ferry, and even though it's not a road, Frying Pan Park in Sussex should be pointed out.
I hope you enjoyed these New Jersey road names. New Jersey always delivers with unique and funny stuff.
