Things Are Heating Up; Another New Jersey Shore Town Announces Beach Bonfires

What's better the smell of a campfire on a cool summer night, watching the flames dance around the wood?

Not much, except maybe enjoying a fire while also hearing the ocean crashing in the background, and the faint smells of boardwalk fries and pizza surrounding you.

And this year, enjoying a beach bonfire has never been easier.

Recently, Asbury Park announced the schedule for 2024's bonfires on the beach.

They started in early May and run through the summer, the dates and locations do change periodically so you'll want to keep a close on the schedule.

Asbury Park isn't the only beach town that hosts bonfires on the beach, it looks like Seaside Heights also plans to get in on the action this year.

Seaside Heights Announces Beach Bonfires In 2024.

According to Exit 82, you'll be able to enjoy a bonfire on the beach in Seaside on June 22nd at the beach at Hiering Avenue.

Bonfires will start promptly at 7 PM and will go on until about 9 PM, it's free to attend and you'll want to be sure to bring your own beach chair.

As of now, it looks like this is the only planned bonfire in Seaside, hopefully, more will be added to the schedule.

You can also have a fire at Island Beach State Park.

They're allowed on the beach from parking A2 South and have to be 50 feet from the dunes, you also have to fully extinguish the flames when you're done.
