Of course, the state we're all most interested in is New Jersey, right? Well, the Garden State rates very highly in the report.

In fact, New Jersey swings into the top 10 (coming in at #7), with a life expectancy of 80.2 years (at birth in 2015). For those born in 1980, the life expectancy age is 73.5, which is 22nd lowest in the United States. We also added close to 7 years of living from 1980-2015 which is second highest in the country!

Oh, and just in case you curious, it comes as no surprise that Hawaii and California were the top 2 states where you'll live the longest, while Mississippi and West Virginia were at the bottom of the list.

Here's to a long and healthy life, Jersey!
