A man from Bridgeton was shot and killed four years ago this month and the case still remains unsolved.

Authorities say in the early morning hours of February 25, 2017, 27-year-old Leonard R. Resto was shot in the head in an alleyway behind 135 East Avenue in Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.

On that day, Resto was one of two people shot in Bridgeton. As reported by The Press of Atlantic City, the second shooting, which was not related to the first, happened that afternoon; a man was shot in the arm while walking to the Burlington Manor Apartments.

Resto's death is one of over two dozen unsolved murders listed on the prosecutor's office's website, some dating back to 1990.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Bridgeton Police at (856) 451-0033. You can also submit an anonymous tip through the prosecutors office's website or even chat anonymously with law enforcement officials.
