A 2023 graduate of Oakcrest High School died on Saturday, June 1 from injuries in a crash on his motorcycle.

Jeremiah St. Surin is being remembered for his talent and leadership on the Oakcrest Track and Field team.

2023 Oakcrest High Graduate Dies in Crash

According to Egg Harbor Township Police, Jeremiah St. Surin died after his motorcycle hit a car at the intersection of West Jersey Avenue and Cates Road.

“Mr. Saint Surin suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional City Division by Egg Harbor Township EMS. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital by the medical personnel providing care".

The driver of the car received minor injuries.

St. Surin is Being Remembered by His Former Track Team

Jerry St. Surin was eulogized in an Instagram post by the Oakcrest High Track & Field Team.

Jeremiah St. Surin, a friend, a mentor, a loved one, family. The Oakcrest Track Family is saddened by the news of Former Oakcrest Track Star Jeremiah St. Surin’s passing due to a horrific accident.

He was loved by his teammates and coaches, he displayed amazing character, sense of humor, and acts of leadership. Jeremiah has left a lasting footprint on our team our school and our athletes, he is forever.
