I had the chance to chat with Fergie this week and she opened up about everything from the new album to her life as a busy mom!

Check out the full interview:

The former Black Eyed Peas vocalist admits that the release of her second solo album Double Dutchess has been heavily delayed, but told me it's partially because she's been really particular about the music, and because like a lot of us, sometimes life just gets in the way.

Not only has she been working on new music, but she's been doing lots of shows (did you catch her hosting on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve?), plus working out a lot to stay in celebrity-fit shape, not to mention everything that comes with being wife to actor Josh Duhamel and mom to their son Axl.

She says the key to juggling it all is staying organized, and realizing everything will just take a lot longer to get done. She swears by her color-coded Google Calendar, which Duhamel refers to as 'Life Tetris.'

As for the rumor that she's collaborating with Jersey Shore native Charlie Puth on the new album, she says they have worked in the studio together, but wouldn't confirm if he'll make an appearance on her new album.

Check out the new song, and gear up for Fergie's tour this year!
