There is a recently produced awesome video  about the original Atlantic City Speedway.

I've learned several things I didn't know.

I was always under the impression that the Atlantic City Speedway was in Pleasantville. Well, there was a speedway in Pleasantville from the 1950's until 1979. According to a local website, that track was referred to as the Atlantic City Speedway, but also the EHT Speedway, or the Pleasantville Speedway.

According to the YouTube video produced by Americas Parks, the original Atlantic City Speedway was actually near Hammonton. It was all wood (including the track) and it was in operation for only eight races - back in the 1920s and 1930s!
