Yesterday was a day filled with celebrations and congratulations for the Rowan Graduating Class of 2018.

Graduation week kicked off in style at Rowan University all highlighted by keynote speaker and Super Bowl Champion Corey Clement.

Clement, a Glassboro High graduate, got a huge ovation from the graduates and all of the proud parents in attendance.

The star running back and keynote speaker, reminisced warmly about his days as a star running back at Glassboro High and the love he feels for his hometown of Glassboro. Clement was a huge part of  Glassboro's South Jersey Group 1 state football championship in 2011.

Clement even managed to tweak Giants and Cowboy fans in the crowd, while of course speaking highly of his Super Bowl memories and his Philadelphia Eagles teammates.

My wife and I were both in attendance as proud parents of my son Josh, who is part of the graduating class of 2018. My son will receive his degree tomorrow as commencement ceremonies  at Rowan continue throughout the week. We are so incredibly proud of him and all of his accomplishments as he gets ready to graduate and begin his teaching career.
