Many businesses all along the shore are also looking forward to a busy summer season especially when so many covid restrictions have disappeared including capacity limits for indoor and outdoor dining at all restaurants.

Officials still want to get as many residents of the Garden State fully vaccinated before the end of June. So far, over 5 million people or 56% of the population has had at least one dose of the vaccine and over 4 million or 45% of the state has been fully vaccinated.

Welcome to Operation Jersey Summer as officials push for even more residents to get the COVID shot. According to 6 ABC, the new round of incentives includes free access to New Jersey's 51 state parks, a free glass of wine at participating New Jersey wineries, and even the chance to have dinner with the Governor and first lady Tammy Murphy.

Governor Murphy tells 6 ABC,

"Millions of New Jerseyans have rolled up their sleeves and received a vaccination to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19, but there is still much work to be done in order to reach our goal of 4.7 million fully vaccinated New Jersey adults by June 30,"

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
