Cops: Man Wanted for Robbing Bank Inside Camden County Acme
Cops in Camden County are on the hunt for a man who they say robbed a bank that's inside of a busy supermarket Tuesday afternoon.
At about 1:10 PM, a man entered the Acme Supermarket on East Evesham Rd. in Runnemede, he went directly to the Citizens Bank branch that's inside the supermarket, and passed a note to the teller, says Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer. That note, according to authorities, demanded money in specific denominations and also threatened to shoot the teller if she did not comply.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build, a shaved head, a blonde beard, and he was wearing dark glasses and blue jeans.
Mayer says the man left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone with information about either the bank robbery and/or the suspect is urged to contact the Major Crimes Unit with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office at (609) 352-0084 or Runnemede Police at (856)939-0330. Tips and information can also be e-mailed to ccpotips@ccprosecutor.org.
