Cops in Atlantic City say two men were arrested and a gun was recovered in a stolen vehicle Wednesday morning.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, just before 8AM Wednesday, Ofc. Nicholas Grasso located a vehicle that had been reported stolen several days earlier in the 500 block of Ohio Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Jahzir Jackson-Campos, and the passenger, 20-year-old Kenneth Marlow, both of Atlantic City were both arrested without incident.

Police say a loaded handgun was found under Jackson-Campos’s seat.

Jackson-Campos was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and receiving stolen property. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Marlow was charged with receiving stolen property and released on a summons with a future court date.

Charges are mere accusations and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
