As we all know, South Jersey can be a unique place on many levels.

Sure, our area is known for boardwalks that are overflowing with fun stuff to do, huge shopping malls, terrific beaches, casinos, and a million acres of pine trees, but there are lots of little things that you won't find anywhere else on the planet.

Things like huge concrete wine bottles, a giant raisin, and a handful of muffler men (I don't know if the term "muffler man" is politically correct these days, especially when some "muffler men" are actually women, but since that's the term that's been used for decades, that's what I'm sticking with).

And, yes, some have faded into history over the years, like the giant white horse that once stood high above a drive-in movie theater that was later converted into a mega strip mall along Route 30 in Lawnside.
