Baraka & 3 Members of Congress ‘Broke Into NJ ICE Detention Center’

United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew, R-NJ-2 did not hold back.

Van Drew said the following about Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and three Democrat members of the United States Congress.

VAN DREW & OTHERS ARE CALLING IT AN ICE DETENTION CENTER “BREAK IN”

What we saw today is beyond unacceptable, said Van Drew. These elected officials, who swore to uphold the laws of this country, chose to break into a federal detention center, alongside protesters. For months now, I have spoken out against Mayor Baraka's effort to block the opening of this detention center but today, we reached a breaking point. It was a direct attack on the rule of law. People in New Jersey are paying some of the highest taxes in the country, only to see that money used to fund illegal immigration as part of the state's sanctuary policies. We are tired of it. No one is above the law. And when elected officials act as if they are, they undermine the very foundation of our democracy, said Van Drew.

BARAKA WAS ARRESTED TODAY

Baraka was handcuffed and arrested today by federal authorities. Democrat members of state and national office are making hyper critical comments about Baraka being arrested.

BARAKA IS RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY

It remains to be seen what today’s controversy will mean for Baraka’s campaign for Governor.

Some political observers believe that in a Democrat primary election, this will actually be helpful for Baraka.

Baraka was placed In handcuffs and there are published reports about arrests being made.

MENENDEZ RAISES HIS VOICE

Congressman Robert Menendez, Jr. offered blistering, loud public comments about members of Congress being arrested today.

Menendez is the son of a former disgraced United States Senator Robert Menendez.

Democrats are trying to portray President Donald Trump and those who support him as radical and dangerous.

Today was a political circus stunt.
