20-year-old Cape May Court House, NJ, man facing several child porn charges
A 20-year-old man from Cape May Court House has been arrested for allegedly sharing child porn videos online.
Xavier Figueroa, Jr., of Cape May Court House, NJ, Arrested
Xavier Figueroa, Jr., was taken into custody late last week and charged with second-degree manufacturing child pornography, second-degree distributing child pornography, and third-degree possession of child pornography.
According to the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, an investigation began after they received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an unidentified person, "subsequently identified as Figueroa Jr., shared video(s) of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) via “X” (formerly Twitter)."
On April 24th, a search and seizure warrant was served at Figueroa's home on Shunpike Road; he was arrested and charged two days later.
Figueroa, Jr., is currently being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
Potential Prison Time
If convicted, those facing second-degree charges in New Jersey could be sentenced to five to 10 years in prison. Those facing third-degree charges could be locked up for three to five.
