New details have emerged in the death of a skydiver in Williamstown last week, including the identity of the jumper.

The man who died was 48-year-old Timothy Joseph Slachta from Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania.

It was Wednesday, March 10th just before 1:30 p.m. when neighbors in houses nearby noticed a parachuter who appeared to be limp beneath his parachute.

He reportedly landed on Kippen Drive in the Stirling Glen Development after suffering a fatal injury.

While what exactly happened to Slachta is yet to be determined, Skydive Cross Keys issued a statement stressing the victim's vast experience with skydiving. '[Slachta]', the statement said, 'had over 700 jumps to his credit and had been skydiving for over a decade. His parachute was deployed at normal altitude upon exiting the airplane and appeared to be fully inflated. All further details are pending investigation.'

It's the third incident originating from Skydive Cross Keys since 2011.

While Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office is spearheading the investigation into Timothy Slachta's death, the Gloucester County Medical Examiner and the Federal Aviation Administration is also involved, according to 6abc.com.
