Big Lots closing all NJ locations

The store filed for bankruptcy on September 9, 2024

Customers are seeing HUGE savings throughout the state

No more furnishing your whole house for pennies.... or can you? It was a bummer to hear that Big Lots is going out of business. Not just here in New Jersey, either. All stores in the entire US are closing up shop. The company announced bankruptcy in late 2024, so now it's time to liquidate.

I purchased a BUNCH of things for my apartment at Big Lots over the years. The one closest to where I live now is in Hamilton Commons on the Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing. That location shouldn't have any problems picking up another store to take its place.

What about the Big Lots in Somers Point?

Sure, it remains pretty steady throughout the off-season here in South Jersey, but it's a lot busier during the summer months. No surprise there since it's right outside of Ocean City. Not to mention all the campgrounds scattered throughout the area.

So, what store should go in next?
