Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick Has Named a New Acting Police Chief

It’s been about a month since former Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little retired from the Toms River Township Police Department. This week Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick announced his successor.

According to Patch, “Peter Sundack, who has been a lieutenant in the Toms River Police Department since 2018, has been promoted to captain and named acting police chief, Mayor Daniel Rodrick confirmed Wednesday night at the Toms River Township Council meeting.”
Congratulations to Captain Peter Sundack on the promotions. In addition, Mayor Rodrick announced the promotion of Lieutenant Guy Maier at Wednesday’s Township meeting.
