App.com published this article I came across and I think their list is awe-inspiring. It's 11 towns that anyone in New Jersey should visit at least once. "Sometimes a quiet, peaceful vacation is nurturing for the soul. And New Jersey is filled with spots far removed from the roar of the turnpike and the familiar flash of boardwalks, according to World Atlas. The resources and geography website lists ten quaint towns offering a reprieve from the expected and a gateway into the Garden State’s less-trodden paths."

Is there a town or two or three that you might add to this list of "secret treasure" towns to visit in New Jersey? I think I might add Smithville Red Bank, although some may say they really are not secrets.
