How Much Snow This Winter in New Jersey? Old Farmer’s Almanac Has Their Forecast❄️
Plan For The Upcoming Winter Weather
I know we have several weeks of summer left and fall can have some warm days too, but everyone likes to see what the Old Farmer's Almanac has to say about the upcoming winter. Will we have a winter with 10 feet of snow or will we barely see flurries? What's in the forecast for us this winter?
Personally, I like cooler weather. I do enjoy summer but usually, by August I'm ready for cool temps and not burning. I also love the idea of a "white Christmas" although that is less common than a "blue moon" lol. So each year we all await the news from the Old Farmer's Almanac and their winter preview. Let's see how we are looking here in the Garden State. Keep in mind we always have several different forecasts in Jersey. The weather in South Jersey is different than in North Jersey. The northwest portion of the state is a lot different than the weather along the ocean at the Jersey Shore.
In a recent article from NorthJersey.com, they looked at the forecast for our area this winter from the Old Farmer's Almanac. "If you're among those that love snow, you might be in luck if you live closer to the interior and perhaps maybe even Sussex County. But don't expect any more than usual, according to the Almanac. "Yes, there will be plenty of snow," the Almanac predicts, "however, precipitation and snowfall will be slightly below normal. Snowfall will be about 1 to 1.5 percent below average. The most snow is predicted in late December and late February."
