Congratulations to Leslie Daniel, the executive chef at Kuro inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, on his big win recently on the Food Network show "Guy's Grocery Games", hosted by Guy Fieri.

Hard Rock Chef Wins $16,000 on Food Network Show

Leslie Daniel lived up to his Hard Rock Hotel & Casino nickname "Chef Too Hype" while appearing recently on the Food Network show "Guy's Grocery Games".

Daniel was able to eliminate three other chef contestants for the win. During the competition, Guy Fieri's son Hunter placed six undesirable items in each chef's cart that were mandatory items throughout two rounds.

After receiving the highest scores from the judges, Chef Daniel was allowed to shop the store to take home $16,000.

The episode is now available on demand and will air again on May 15 at 6 p.m. on the Food Network.

Daniel is a VIP in the kitchen at Kuro, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's authentic Japanese restaurant.

Under his leadership, Kuro was recognized by USA Today as the #1 casino restaurant in 2020 and as the top hotel restaurant in the last two years.

Chef Daniel has been an important team member at Kuro since its opening in 2018. He has participated in ACCC's annual Restaurant Gala and Atlantic City's Wing Wars.

When the episode of "Guy's Grocery Games" featuring Daniels aired on Wednesday, April 24, Hard Rock held a viewing party for friends and co-workers to watch his victory.
