However, staying mindful of our health goals is also essential, especially during the holidays.  Black Friday kicks off the hectic shopping season. It is so easy when we are out and about to grab a fast food meal or high-sugar snack, but with some pre-planning, we can pack some healthy snacks to keep our energy up and calories in check as we tackle our holiday shopping and to-do list.  Here are some healthy snack ideas we can pack in a purse or small lunch bag.  One more reminder: don't forget to bring a large water bottle with you to stay hydrated.
